Automotive Board
Laminated, hard sized paperboard combined with poly liners to achieve MVTR barriers. The board is die cut and adhered to carpet or vinyl covered foam for use as door panels, trunk-liners, package trays, and sun visors.

Book Cover Boards
Caraustar offers two 100% recycled book cover grades in Binder Tex 45® and StaSquare 32 ®. StaSquare 32® is an FSC/SFI Recycled product used in trade, juvenile, and library books. It is dimensionally stable with favorable grain ratio and desired density. Binder Tex 45® is used in the production of hardbound textbooks, photo albums, law, and library books. Binder Tex 45 ® meets NASTA specifications for textbook manufacturing

Carpet Sample Displays
Large binders, rack cards, or architect folders used to mount carpet samples for the purpose of displaying the various carpet styles available in that industry.

Folding Carton
Light weight boxes that are shipped flat and can be formed to make a packing box for envelope boxes, MRE cartons, printed cartons, and gift boxes.

Set Up Boxes
Heavier weight, boxes that are designed to be rigid in construction. Examples include: candy boxes, slip cases, cigar style boxes, DVD boxes, game boxes, and specialty gift boxes.

Fiber Drum tops/bottoms
Laminated paperboard with poly or foil barriers die cut into circles of various diameters to seal the ends of fiber drums. Markets served include packaging of food, chemicals both dry and liquid, and any powdered or granular products.

Gypsum Facing Paper
Caraustar is a large, non-integrated, producer of gypsum facing paper. Standard facing paper grades such as greyback or creamface are used by the wallboard producers as well as specialty paper for critical wallboard construction.

Outdoor Sheathing Board
Hard sized paperboard laminated with a foil liner and poly barrier used as a replacement for OSB on studded walls in new single and multiple family homes, and some commercial construction. Produced in calipers between .075 and .135 in 4'x8' and 4'x12' sheets.

Partitions
Paperboard, single ply construction, die cut and assembled to form multiple cells inserted into corrugated boxes as protective compartments. Markets served include beverage (beer, wine, liquor) commodity glass for various food jars, pharmaceutical, health & beauty products, and automotive parts.

Picture Frame Backs
Laminated or single ply paperboard typically dyed black and die cut for use in the back of framed pictures and table top easel pictures. Included would be photo mount applications and albums as well.

Point of Purchase
Paperboard either single ply or laminated to be used for store displays. In most cases a litho printed liner is laminated to the paperboard substrate and is self standing or attached to a wall found in grocery stores (food, beer, and pop advertising) movie theaters (coming attractions) and department stores depicting the latest holiday themes to advertise various dry goods.

Skin and Blister Packaging
Packaging that utilizes a paperboard card covered by a thin transparent plastic film that protects items mounted on the card. Generally, the packages are hung up for display purposes. Examples of products using Blister or Skin packaging are: toys, hardware, and electrical items. It is also commonly used for unit-dose packaging for pharmaceutical tablets, capsules, or lozenges.

School and Office Products
Supplies used in school and office settings; ring binders, notebooks, composition books, and writing tablets are some of the products using 100%recycled paperboard. Paperboard grades used range from plain chip, pasted or laminated, rotary cut, and suntan.

Separator Sheets
A single-ply or laminated paperboard sheet used to separate layers of products. Examples include paperboard separator sheets used on pallets of glass bottles, or metal paint cans.

Printers Chip
This term describes the various chipboard sizes that are used primarily in the printing and paper industry. The board is used to form the backs of writing pads and tablets. Some of the larger volume sizes include 8 1/2 x 11, 8 1/2 x 14, and 11 x 17. The calipers can range from .022 pt. to .030 pt.

Game and Puzzle Board
The market segment that produces game boards such as Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, checkers, etc. It also includes puzzle boards like jigsaw puzzles and children's puzzles.

Furniture
Kraftex and furniture chip products (pasted and non-pasted) used in the construction of furniture components. Primarily used to construct furniture arms and frame bottoms/backs. We also offer tacking strips to staple fabric to furniture backs and arms in various grades and colors.

Air Filter Frame
Coils of Paperboard that are die cut, scored, and folded for the purpose of housing air filtration media. The completed filters are utilized in both commercial and residential HVAC systems.

Hanger Struts
Coils of light weight paperboard that are skived and wound into convolute tubes. The tubes are inserted on a wire hanger for the purpose of keeping a trouser from developing a crease.

Match Stem Board
Chemically treated paperboard with a proprietary process is die cut, dipped in paraffin, dipped in a head composition, and then stapled into a match book to form a paper match.

Composite Cans, Cores, and Tubes
Coils of paperboard are spirally wound into a cylinder or reels of paperboard are convolutely wound into a cylinder for the purpose of becoming a container to hold various goods or to become a core for the purpose of having a good wound around it.
