Adhesives are a natural extension of our product lines and we draw on the company’s knowledge in tube winding, cores and composite cans and gypsum facing paper in developing our product line. We manufacture a diverse line of water-based adhesives at our manufacturing facility in Kernersville, NC.

Our philosophy is to produce quality products at competitive prices and to support these adhesives with hands-on technical support. The use of a load cell based batching system with computer control assures accurate charging of raw materials and precise cooking cycles. This, combined with control over incoming prime raw materials, results in products with consistent properties and performance. Each batch is tested in our quality lab to assure that it meets all established criteria and supporting paperwork issued prior to shipment.

Our product line consists of a variety of products with proven track records both within our own internal locations as well as at external customers. Wide latitude in formulating allows us to tailor new products to meet the customer’s requirements for performance and running properties on their specific equipment and paper. Difficult to adhere papers or coatings can be evaluated and formulations developed to provide a product specific to these needs. This latitude also offers us the ability to supply the needs of today as well into the future.

Products can be produced in quantities from small volumes up to tank trucks to meet the customer’s usage and economic needs. Our experienced personnel can adjust batch sizes via the computer system to produce the required quantities with no variation in product properties. Our sales or technical personnel can answer questions regarding specific volumes.

Edge Protector Adhesives: for forming angle pads and U-channels from board stock or single faced corrugated.

Tube Winding Adhesives: formulated to meet your needs and designed to run on your equipment. These include clay filled types and non-filled or resin types capable of bonding difficult papers, grease-proof and plastic top plies and providing heat and/or water resistance.

Laminating Adhesives: formulated specifically for laminating board stock on roll-to-roll and sheet laminators.

Honeycomb Adhesives: for making the honeycomb as well as bonding the face plies.

Gypsum Adhesive: for edge gluing the gypsum board. These adhesives have been rigorously tested in both lab and production situations and meet all current requirements including ASTM 3273 for mold resistance, when needed.

Box Board/Carton Adhesives: for the custom packaging market that can be applied via extruders, wheels or other means. Included are adhesives for glue lap which meet DOT Rule 41 for water resistance.

Can Winding Adhesives: which meet the speed requirements for making and labeling cans.
